Long Serving Community Councillor Retires

We are sorry to have to report that, despite our best efforts to persuade him to stay, Richard Salvin has decided to retire from the Community Council. Richard has been a Community Councillor for eleven years during which time he has had responsibility for the Millennium Park, advised on trees, been the Kinnoull Hill Woodland Group representative, dealt with planning applications, been a member of the Murray Royal Working Group and been part of the the Design Quality Control Group for the Murray Royal development. On top of all that he served as chairman and vice chairman. We are very grateful to him for all the many hours he has spent on behalf of our community. We wish him well and hope he'll enjoy having time for his many other interests.
