Kinnoull Conservation Area Appraisal

PKC has produced a draft Kinnoull Conservation Area Appraisal document. The boundary of the Kinnoull Conservation Area would be extended. We have been pressing for Commercial Street, Bridgend, Isla Road and Barnhill to be included as this could provide opportunities to upgrade buildings in these areas.

The document mentions Bridgend, especially Main Street stating that the street would benefit from restoration of facades and reinstatement of shopfronts, Inchbank on Main Street which would benefit from enhancement and contribute positively to the character of the area and Roma and Bellwood Cottages on Dundee Road which would be ideal candidates for enhancement and benefit from refurbishment.
