Murray Royal Traffic Survey -What Traffic?

Ever since we became aware of the proposals to develop the Murray Royal Hospital site we have been pressing for measures to be put in place to deal with traffic.

A traffic survey was carried out at lunchtime on Friday. We were alerted to this by a member of the community. When questioned the surveyor said that he had been instructed to carry out the survey at this time and was not to do so during rush hour or when the schools were coming out. Friday lunchtime is probably one of the quietest times of the week - even shoppers would be having lunch!

It will be interesting to see the results of this survey but there is a mystery. We have been told that it was not instructed by NHS Tayside, Morgan Ashurst or PKC Roads Department.

Meantime we hope to hear from whoever did do this survey and that a meaningful survey will be carried out by NHS Tayside, Morgan Ashurst or PKC Roads Department at peak times.
