Bad Weather Refuse Collections

PKC has suspended collection of blue and brown lidded bins until 22nd January at the earliest. Excess recyclable or compostable materials can be put in your green lidded bin meantime.

Green lidded bins will be collected on the next scheduled collection dates for both green lidded and blue lidded bins. You should refer to your relevant collection calendars. Green lidded bins will be collected where it is safe for the refuse vehicle to access the road and it is possible to uplift the bins. Bagged side waste placed beside the green lidded bin will be collected during this temporary period.

If you live where the refuse vehicles have been unable to access you are asked to take your green lidded bin to the nearest main road, or road which is clear of snow and ice, on the scheduled collection days. If you are unable to do this you are asked to either take your waste to the nearest Recycling Centre or store it until the current weather conditions improve.
