Dad Runs in Aid of Kinnoull Church Nursery
Duncan Ryan (Gregor's, Rose's and Iris's Dad) will be running the Paris Marathon on 11th April 2010 to raise money for Kinnoull Church Nursery. The Nursery has been struggling with funding due to falling numbers after an unusually large pre-school group last year. There were 22 leaving to go to school rather than the usual 11 or 12. This has meant that the intake of 2.5 year olds just starting Nursery had to be reduced for a couple of years until there was space so it will take some time to grow the numbers again. Some help in the meantime would be great.
Everyone who has/has had children at the Nursery knows what a lovely place it is, run by caring staff and a committee that works hard to raise money. It also provides such a great learning environment for the children through play. On top of that, it is an important part of the community helping new families to get settled into the area and meet new friends.
