Development Trust

We are looking at the possibility of establishing a Development Trust for our area. Its first objective would be to purchase the surplus land and buildings at Murray Royal Hospital.  Such Trusts attract legal and financial benefits and could potentially offer a competitive option for NHS Tayside which has to dispose of unwanted assets.

The Trust would then be responsible for the sustainable uses to which the land and buildings were put. A wider remit for the Trust such as for Bridgend regeneration, could also be considered.
