Traffic Survey

Traffic cameras were in position on Lochie Brae on Wednesday 25th June and on Muirhall Road on 26th June. This was the week immediately preceding the school holidays when senior pupils had already left and school traffic was much reduced.

We have heard from concerned members of the public who ask if a true picture of traffic density can be obtained by carrying out a survey at this time.

We have queried the previous traffic survey which had been carried out during school holidays and have pressed Perth & Kinross Council to have a proper survey carried out. We think that only a survey carried out on a weekday when school traffic is in full swing can give a realistic picture of our problems.
