Recreation

There are several small parks in the area: Potterhill Play Park, the Bell Park (at the junction of Isla Road and Scone Road), the Duck-Pond Play Park (or "Curlie"), View of River Tay from Kinnoull Hill, Perthand the Millennium Park, which is managed by the Community Council and was formally opened by  Provost Hulbert on 17th July 2007.

Kinnoull Tennis Club and Kinnoull Bowling Club (both private) are located at Muirhall Terrace.

The Rodney Fitness Centre located opposite Isle of Skye Hotel offers a wide range of facilities and has a lovely garden.

The area is particularly well-served with walking routes, especially on Kinnoull Hill (pictured) and Deuchny Hill. Maps can be obtained from car parks and from Perth Tourist Office.

Branklyn Garden, which is owned and managed by the National Trust for Scotland, is well worth visiting. It has a wide range of plants, beautifully laid out in a scenic setting with some available for purchase.

Shopping

The shops are at Bridgend and include a newsagent, chemist and general store.

Churches

Kinnoull Parish Church is on the Dundee Road.. The Church Hall is used for Children's Organisations and also for recreation e.g.Yoga. 

St Mary's Spirituality Centre is in Hatton Road. 

Education/Children's Organisations

Associated with Kinnoull Church are Guides, Boys Brigade, Rainbows, etc..

Kinnoull Nursery is held in the church hall from 8.50-11.50, Tuesdays to Fridays during term time. Information is available from Colleen on 075347 or 01738 441477.

Kinnoull Toddler Group is held on Tuesdays from 1.45-3.15p.m. in the church hall and costs £1.50 per family.

Kinnoull Primary School is located on the Dundee Road. Associated with the school is an After-School Club.

Robert Douglas Memorial School in Scone also takes pupils from our area.

Secondary education is provided at Perth High School, Perth Academy, Perth Grammar School and St Columba's High School.

There are several private schools within a short distance: Craigclowan (nursery and primary), Kilgraston (preparatory and senior) and Strathallan and Glenalmond Independent Boarding Schools.

Eating and drinking

There is a coffee shop (Cupcakes), a mediterranean restaurant (Kinto) and a Chinese take-away outlet at Bridgend. There are also three pubs.
