Much of my time has been spent overseas, but Perth has been my homebase for the last 23 years. Perth is a great place to live, work and retire in. I believe that the Community Councils have done much to nurture the Fair City’s beauty and pleasant environs. I’m proud to have the opportunity to add support to the good work that is being done by this community council. I’m also Chairman of the Perth Left Bank Trust.

Interest in being a Community Councillor
I have had the good fortune to have been born and bred in Perth. Much of that good fortune lies in the magnificent surroundings in which Perth is set, but it is also due in large part to the many individuals who have given of their time and energy to ensure their communities received the care and attention they deserved. I believe that our community council plays a vital part in maintaining that tradition, and I am pleased to play my part in it.

I have lived in Perth for the last 25 years. Perth is a great place to live, work and retire in. I believe that the Community Councils can influence the Local Council and is a focal point of interface between all residents of our Community and our Council.

The Community Council plays an important role as the key interface between our community and the various local authorities. Although currently unable to match the significant time and effort given to our community affairs by this dedicated team of volunteers, as a local resident I am proud to be involved with them and to provide support as an associate member.
